activeCollab
I just discovered a swanky new tool called activeCollab.
Heavily inspired by Basecamp, activeCollab is a free & open source project management/collaboration suite.
It runs on PHP/MySQL and is very, very easy to get up and running.

Yes, activeCollab is pretty neat. We have been using Xplanner for just over a year now but are moving to activeCollab soon.

I have been a huge Basecamp fan since it was launched, activeCollab lacks a few features when compared to Basecamp, but the to-do list looks very promising.
From now on, activeCollab it is!

Is it stable? |
Hey K, I tried this recently and it crashed out when I tried to upload a picture... it worried me a little bit about integrity of the data. You don't want your tasklist going away.
Have you had any problems?

Re: Is it stable? |
I've been using ActiveCollab to manage a bunch of projects over the last couple of months, haven't had any critical issues(definitely no data loss). In my opinion, its pretty stable for the amount of time its been around.
