I just discovered a swanky new tool called activeCollab.

Heavily inspired by Basecamp, activeCollab is a free & open source project management/collaboration suite.

It runs on PHP/MySQL and is very, very easy to get up and running.

I just started testing Sutori, a consumer reviews website with web 2.0 features(tagging et al) which is in closed beta right now. With this, I see another traditional model taking the social networking path. I like what I see at first glance and I hope to see this grow.

What started as Infinity Radio couple of years ago, has come a long way since then. Today it is considered by the Indie artists and bands in the country as one of the biggest tools to promote their music to the world. We've added 2 more hours of programming to Infinity Radio(iradio). Some of the music being played now has never been played on Infinity Radio before. These are from bands which submitted their music to us over the last week.

Starting yesterday, Infinity Radio now plays 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! We currently have an hour long radio show looping through the day and are working on adding more content as I write this.

So looks like Vasantha Habba has been cancelled this year too. This is the second time in a row the cultural festival has been cancelled. I just got off the phone with someone at Nrityagram who refused to comment on on the reason for the cancellation. Last year's event was not held owing to the damages to life and property that the Tsunami which hit South-east Asia claimed.
